Membership

voice consists of an independent Chairperson and 10 members with a wide range of experience and expertise on alcohol and other drug-related issues. These members have collectively demonstrated that they can represent the interests of key Western Australian groups or members of our community.

Anne Russell-Brown

Anne Russell-Brown is the former State Manager of Mission Australia and the current National Manager of Community Partnerships with ALCOA Worldwide Alumina. She has extensive experience in a range of community, youth homelessness, substance use and family wellbeing issues and was a delegate to the WA Government’s Community Drug Summit.

Sandra Harris

Sandra Harris has had extensive long-term involvement in the community, in both a voluntary and professional capacity. Mrs Harris has professional experience working with drug related issues, and as a parent has been personally affected by drug use. Mrs Harris was a delegate of the WA Community Drug Summit.

Bryan Taylor

Bryan Taylor has extensive professional and community experience in drug use issues. Mr Taylor was a police officer for many years where he developed a strong interest in young people and the problems they experience with drug use. He is now a senior counsellor with the Albany Community Drug Service Team, and was the supervisor of a nation award winning Police-community youth intervention.

Fiona Calley

Fiona Calley from Legal Aid WA has recently been appointed to the Council as the legal sector representative. Ms Calley is a practising criminal lawyer who also has considerable experience in Western Australia’s drug court.

Sue Lee

Sue Lee works at Womens Health Care and is the representative for the Culturally and Linguistically Diverse (CALD) sector due to her experience in working with this community group.
